Quantity vs Quality

The more the merrier.
The more the better quality for creativity.
The more confusing.
The more miscommunication.
The more the more frustration.
The more black hearts.
The more controversies.
The more unmanageable.
The more drive to control.
The more drive to overcome.

I love being stuck in jams sometimes. Makes me look out of the window and appreciate art even on a stick-no-bills wall in the old part of KL city.

I appreciate fashion. Fashion is art. Colours are important. God made colours for us to play and match. Check out orange Bohemian chick.

ADOI! Sakitnye!

I’ve thought of being in the advertising agency a long, long time ago but never thought it would happen. It’s been so many months now. Something my family members used to tell me before, “Join advertising agency since you’re so creative.” But to be honest, I never really thought I could reach the ultimate creativity, and these two weeks, I’m feeling my lowest at my work where work insisted that I should be meticulous. Precision was to be my forte instantly, no technical errors at all. But, I’m in the digital interactive division and the moment I focus on the technicalities, I lack focus in creativity. How can I merge the two together while juggling calls from left right and centre with people passing me and putting a question to my face expecting an answer immediately and and and… the so many “and’s”. The worst thing is where I juggle with my company’s money and cannot afford to make any mistake at all. Seriously, I love my job. I’m in a dream company, with people who work at a high level within the office. On top of that, with a company mascot too. I will tell you about Crazy Fox someday, crazy enough to steal food from our tables. I will share that another day. A real musang who lurks around at night to hunt for our food. Really cute thing I tell you. But I’ll tell you how it’s not-so-cute-afterall when it… okay save for another time.

Anyway, since I’m in the advertising industry, obviously I have to keep in touch with the advertising buzz.

I subscribe to ADOI Magazine. It’s a free circulation magazine with its online version.

After months of all those advertising gossip, suddenly I receive news of ADOI being on the verge of closure. HUH??? If you’re reading this, you’re really updated with the latest goss huh? I guess Ham (the director of ADOI) could be in serious trouble and refused to say anything officially. I wonder to what extent.

If you know anything about this, do update me.

@#$%^&

This is exactly my mood today. Angry. Lots of fire in me… things did not turn out the way I had wanted it to be. Work woes, that’s part of the challenge of working life. Moreover, no money & no honey. Broke this month because of my first braces installment. I’m really poor. But, don’t pity me, for my braces is a part of me.

Mobile Internet Marketing & Advertising seminar (by BuzzCity) earlier today at Boulevard Hotel was quite an eye-opener. It’s the next important “M” besides money. Just as important as the “M” in the KIM. The hours that followed that just went….

Moral of today’s story: Precision & time management.

Hillsong United Live!

Something out of the ordinary cocktail functions, I went to a Christian rock band concert. Hillsong United came to Kuala Lumpur. This band hails from Australia. http://hillsongunitedkl2008.blogspot.com. I didn’t mind paying RM50 for this concert.

This very night, I realised how much older I have become, having the lack of energy and enthusiasm of jumping up and down to their fast songs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying their performance was boring. In fact, it was really fun, energising and entertaining. The 3000 crowd screamed like mad at their every move. I just found myself sitting at one corner occasionally.

Maybe because it isn’t the weekend and it’s a Tuesday right after work.

Everyone went crazy. I could not really hear the singers’ voice except for their first line in every song. The crowd’s cheers and singing drowned the main performers’ voices. If there weren’t lyrics for people to sing to, this would not happen. However, this was a Christian concert and it is supposed to be like this.

Everyone cheered for the band while they sang. There was this guy who had the same personality onstage as David Cook, while the other pretty petite girl had a big voice. She wore a pair of flip-flops which I thought was very significantly Aussie.

To be honest, I couldn’t really relate to the songs because I haven’t been to church that regularly in these few years, so the songs were unfamiliar to me. In fact, alot of them sounded pretty much the same. I guess I grew up with Planet Shakers.

Nonetheless I had alot of fun. Hillsong United Live! In Kuala Lumpur was hosted by Youth Alive Malaysia.

There were just too many people and at the end of the concert, many just sat down to relax, wait for other cars to move out and eventually leave the venue. Can you spot www.splashmilk.com?

The group. Overall, I had fun, it was good to see so many youths involved and enjoying themselves going crazy at the concert. They had good spirit. Good job to the organisers. Great venue, great lighting, great usherers. Thanks Sandra www.vmxartist.com for sourcing the ticket for me.

Tonight, I prayed for myjojo to improve in his training. I love my new gold and silver-plated pendant.
