Liz’s Farewell at Alumbra

Goodbyes are hellos. Before you know it, we will be together again. I know, I seem to be losing my close buddies in Melbourne. Some of them have decided to relocate to another country for better job prospects but Melbourne is an option for them in the near future. Come on Liz, you’re supposed to come back to Melbourne so we can have kids together here. I’ll wait for you!

So, the mandatory farewell gathering was at Alumbra in Docklands – Forever Fridays, a definite choice for an Asian night set for young adults, working ones – well, mostly. The night ended with supper (Malaysian mamak style) at Oldtown Kopitiam Mamak in QV.

I will miss you Liziti…

My Early Birthday Celebration at Alumbra

Never too old to party. That’s what Josiah and I live by. We’ll have our kids all grown up in university and Josiah and I would hit a latin club and dance the night away.

I decided to have my birthday celebration a few days earlier, otherwise next Friday would be too late (birthday on Wednesday, celebrated on Friday before). This was one of those nights where I met many friends at a different setting this time and we just danced the night away and caught up. I pretty much stayed at the VIP table by the DJ’s deck I was fortunate to have. Like a queen indeed, I had the DJ wish me over the mic as well! We lifted our champagne glasses and partied till the club closed.

I chose a white theme so my group of friends would glow on the platform next to the DJ. Yup, gotta party in style!

Thank you, I had a great time!

Saturdate with Hubby

Saturdate with the hubby, was crucial. I had two busy months working after work hours. Now I’m making me sound like a secret agent of some sort. Well, kind of. The kind of job that involved highly secure personal information of people I don’t personally know. Anyway, it’s all good now – I have time to cook, blog and pole.

Today – yumcha, bubble tea and Maxim’s eggtarts to-die-for.

Camwhore session with the hubby at some lane we found perfect for photography. Plus, with the perfect weather earlier, I was able to bust out my Nike ‘Remixed and Recut’ sandals designed by Nancy Wu.

It was a perfectly secluded spot.

We also met Mr. Albert Stone outsde Myer.

We were window-shopping at Myer and found this really nice bathrobe by Missoni. Have you seen “Josiah and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” lately?

Meeting Ryan Higa

Stayed up a little late to meet the nigahiga, YouTube sensation. We’re talking about YouTube views by the millions. We girls absolutely adore him. What’s he like in person? Calm, subdued and polite. Must have had a long day, and probably still trying to adjust to the cold weather in Melbourne and the time difference too. All energy’s gone onto the video camera.

It is 3am in the morning, I’m compromising my practice with Jen tomorrow.

My weight would be double this tomorrow if I don’t go sleep now!

Teehee!
