About

Welcome to kimong.com which is an outlet of my freedom of expression in optimism. This blog is about my optimistic approach as an Olympic Track Cyclist’s wife, new in a foreign country (no longer foreign) Melbourne and how I overcome certain obstacles in life. I sometimes live independently while my husband goes for his races, at times for months. As such, I indulge in a range of hobbies like cooking, pole-dancing and blogging if not immersing myself in the world of Twitter and Facebook. Oh, I just learned how to ride the bicycle too with my new Cannondale Hooligan! I guess it’s never too late to learn!

You can call me a social junkie but maybe kimong.com is a research tool for my social media findings in the digital marketing world I choose to live in. My BCom degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Curtin University in Perth Australia enhances my reach in the digital / I.T. industry.

I have been blogging since 2003 initially from xanga where I was formerly known as “kimfluttersby” before I took on my domain name at kimong.com in 2007.

Over the years, I have been given great opportunities I’ll never forget, to write, review, be interviewed and so on as a blogger. I love being a blogger and it is truly my passion to share with others my thoughts and take on life, the things I encounter. I always ensure that I enjoy blogging and blogging is not a chore for me. There must be a great balance in life for me to achieve the ultimate healthy life.

I believe that it’s important being rich with love than being rich monetarily without having the love of people.
