My Hawaii honeymoon entry continues. So after the seaplane ride, we chilled out for the rest of the day and the following day (Christmas Eve), we had a good full-body massage session with professional massage therapists. It was soooooo good! Thereafter we all adjourned for lunch at Wahoo’s. This was just the beginning of how sick I am “now” of Mexican food because Josiah kept hunting for Mexican food in Hawaii. Hawaii was afterall part of America and Mex food was widely sold everywhere!
After lunch, we adjourned to the supermarket to start preparing for the next day’s Xmas dinner party and we had also prepared for the night’s dinner – Xmas eve home dinner with the couple we were close to during the entire trip (Reyhan & Randell).
This ahi poki was one of them. Fresh salmon and tuna marinated in Hawaiian style, absolutely yummy!
This is an interesting way to feed those who need it, found it at the check-out counter.
I wasn’t perving on my hubby’s butt, I was merely trying to capture the supermarket scene!
Cooking at Rey’s.
A simple meal.
This certainly looks like something you’ve seen in my cooking archive before. It’s fried eggplant with minced meat.
Afterwards, we started preparing for the dinner party the following day.
Reyhan made some yummy filling for the spring rolls.
It was a mixture of:
- glass noodles
- tofu
- mushrooms
- spring onions
- carrots
- seasonings
Check that out! Oooo!

I use Anolon cookware. Hehe.
Man, making those rolls must be tough. I tried rolling rice sheet rolls and it feels a bit difficult from what it seems to be!
