I like pole-dancing because it’s athletic and does not discriminate against age, size and race. You get people of all backgrounds at the Christmas Showcase 2009 earlier at Pole Divas Australia.
It’s just alot of fun.
I joined the Christmas showcase and danced my level, Intermediate 1.
The showcase started from Beginner’s level right up to Advanced 2 level and eventually individual performances.
Top: Beginner’s level.
Top: Intermediate 1 level. Don’t have a photo of all the other girls. Josiah recorded a video of the dance but I will not put it up because I’m feeling quite shy and not up to par yet.
Then it gets harder. This is the Advanced level.
The pole dance instructors.
Crazy huh.
Then there was a relay – girls vs boys in their attempt to climb up the pole (team of 6 each) to bring the Xmas stickers down and put them up again.
This one’s taken with my dance instructor, Fontaine Bradbury who did a solo performance (below) to “Cry Me A River” shot in HD from my Canon Ixus 200 IS.
Click to view my youtube video on Fontaine below:
She was absolutely agile, flexible and graceful. Hot and a sexy strong body too. Long way to go for me.
Shelly, another dance instructor.
Some other super performances. This one’s with the spin pole.
Miss Pole Dance Victoria 2009, Ms Kylie J takes pole dancing to a whole different level with her added burlesque / Vegas style, cute dance performance. She won the “Best Entertainer” award at the national level here.
One of my special guests, Liz whom I invited apart from Josiah.
When I’m comfortable with my pole-dance technique and skills someday, I will share my video / dance with the world. I’m really not ready yet but I am getting more and more obsessed. I’m still preparing my strength, mind and body for it.

Shelly is hot!

Wow! can I sign up too?

you inspire me to try pole dancing! haha if only i have the money to go for the classes.
Wow.. Very interesting. But, if it very painful when you started pole dancing? I mean when you’re trying to climb the pole, there will be frictions between the skin and the pole. And you definitely have the upper body strength to do this! Amazing sports. =)
You shouldn’t feel shy about your ability. I betcha lots of women would envy you as you dare to embark on this… me for sure I’ll chicken out
hi Kim,
you look great in your pole dancing outfit! You have the talent! keep it up !
name: I agree!!
koifreshie: Anyone can sign up.
pinky: The casual classes are at AUD$20-25, just give it a try! Open to public. http://www.poledivas.com.au
LingDi: You saw my previous blog entries about my bruises? All from frictions and all. Yea, the inner thighs hurt. Used to it already.
sholee: I either be 1/2 good and post up a video and kena bashed by ppl who dunno how to dance or post up a video of my 100% perfect dancing and leave ppl gaping in awe. I’ll go for the latter option.
eve: Thx babe, not there yet. Still trying.
Got it Kim! Understood your point
nice! looking forward to see your solo performance..! =)
