Thanks Ray, I love the lilies.
The real ones are in.
The fake ones have to go…
But twigs and painted branches last forever.
This is something I cannot understand.
Why…
I’ve had such attachment to it.
Why can’t they stay?
They brought such vibrance.
Such colour and feminity.
I don’t have green fingers.

I hope you enjoyed the tiramisu. I was quite worried that of the amount of kahlua in there… Hehehe.
Feeling poetic lately?
You would surprise yourself. Green fingers aren’t difficult. It is similar in philosophy to cooking. Some trial & error, & a few conversations with people who have a garden, & “hey presto” two years later you have a garden, and suddenly you find all you want to talk about is plants, and garden centres start to excite you as much as a dress shop ever did!
Michelle: It’s all good. The amount of kahlua is great, I love the alco, but it flooded the bottom abit, which is what I personally like. Hehehe.
Steve at the Pub: Steve! I owe you an e-mail! Oh dear, green fingers. It’s like cooking huh. I guess it’s about exploring. I didn’t even know I had to cut the ends of the roots and all those simple things abt keeping flowers. Hence they always die. Maybe I’ll grow into it when I get a bigger hse with a backyard where I can grow lots. There just isn’t space here and maybe it’s good to start with a small vase.
