A taxi ride in Singapore
Maybe myjojo and I should check out the Singapore Flyer someday. We must visit all the ferris wheels in the whole wide world.

Wedding Anniversary Buffet Dinner @ Intercontinental Hotel
It was my aunt and uncle’s 16th wedding anniversary and they invited me.
I really love this hotel.
Shrimp, garlic and pomelo.
Salmon, cod fish, tuna and mussels.
Mango lemon cake.
Blueberry cake.
Assortment of desserts.
Crepe.
Banana chocolate cake and…..
…so much more food especially oysters!!! I really love their service and ambience too. Value for money, it’s not quite cheap, but for that 6-star quality, really worth it. Call them to enquire. Google them. Singapore’s Inter Continental Hotel near Bugis Junction.
I figured my aunt and uncle invited me to be entertained by the enormous amount of food my small stomach could contain. For some reason, I forgot I was wearing braces and ate to my heart’s content. I’ve never felt so happy about food since I extracted my teeth for braces. Oh yes, the good news is – no ulcers at all since I had my braces on! It’s been two weeks now.
Zouk Singapore
As usual, the ultimate Zouk club was packed with clubbers and the good news is I went home without smelling of smoke.
Met Rena Ho. It’s been ages since our Perth days.
Hung out with Loonie www.xanga.com/vampuke.
Met Sheen Lee in person www.xanga.com/sheen_lee. Remember Sheen Lee right?
The end of my Singapore trip, the few moments I managed to squeeze in when I was “off-working hours”.
The Sad Truth
Not happy to end this post sounding sad but a relative of mine recently passed away from pneumonia and in her final stage, I saw her on her sick bed kicking and fidgeting around, gasping for breath in her oxygen mask. This made me feel so fortunate that I am still able. Even at the slightest bit sometimes, we complain. We complain we don’t have enough, we complain about work and all sorts. What did she do wrong to deserve all these, and now that she’s finally been called home to the Lord, she’s watching on us. Dear Serena, please watch on us and be our guardian angel. My deep condolences to her family members, with much love from the Ongs.
