Missing Perth

I was just providing a friend some recommendations in Perth, and was browsing through my old pictures. Those days, I used to walk to Curtin uni everyday and it took me around 5-10 minutes. It had always been a pleasant walk, with the uni patrol car guarding students.

This was the journey that confirmed my graduation.

When will I return to reminisce my uni days? How can I forget my close friends back then… May, Simon, Karen, Louis, etc.

Friendship’s never to be forgotten no matter how far apart we are, no matter how separate our lives have become.

The Shrine

Myjojo and I went to the Melbourne Shrine which is in remembrance of those who served and those who died in the Great War of 1914-1918 and armed conflicts and peacekeeping duties since.

The Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria’s largest and most visited war memorial and is probably Melbourne’s most recognised landmark.

It is a permanent and lasting memorial to the ANZAC spirit which is confirmed by the number of visitors to the Shrine throughout the year and the many people who attend the more than 120 ceremonies that are held at the Shrine annually.

The Shrine is located on Melbourne’s most recognised boulevard, St Kilda Road, just south of the Melbourne central business district.

After that, we saw a really lame-ass performance. The crowd was really supportive and encouraging to sit there and look at him for 15 minutes. I really couldn’t be bothered seriously although he was trying to make living out of his “look-I’m-stuck-help-me-or-I’ll-die-in-these-chains!” performance. Good attempt mate!

This part of the city just reminded me of Spain!!!

What a wonderful day out in Melbourne. Stay tuned for more.
